Dr. John J. Drewniany
Dr. Drewniany was born in Lynn, Massachusetts and grew up in the Philadelphia area. He attended Penn State University and then Temple University School of Medicine.  After Medical School he performed a Surgical Internship and Orthopedic Residency at SUNY Upstate Medical Center where he decided he wanted to become a Hand Surgeon. He performed a one year Hand Surgery Fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas Texas with world renowned Hand Surgeon Dr. Adrian E. Flatt. After completing this training, he joined the faculty of Dartmouth Medical School until moving to Jacksonville in 1985. He has practiced here since that time.  He has been married to Mary Beth who is a physical therapist for over 30 years and has three adult children: John, Stephen and Erin.

He was Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery in 1985 and is a member of multiple Medical organizations including:

           Florida Hand Society (President 1999)

Florida Orthopedic Society

Florida Medical Society

 Duval County Medical Society

He has been a member of the Rotary Cub of Jacksonville and served on the Boys Home Association Board. He enjoys Golf, Boating, Amateur Radio and flying radio controlled airplanes. He is a Jaguars, Red Sox, Phillies, and Celtics fan in addition to being a avid Penn State Nittany Lion alumnus.
